Camberwell Green United Reformed Church
January 2012: The Church received planning permission in August 2011 for a small development of 8 flats and one house, plus a new 2-storey Church and community building, on the site. The church is now seeking development partners to work with to realise the scheme.
The church wishes to demolish the existing building and build out the site as soon as possible.
In accordance with Charities Commission requirements, the site is being advertised on the open market. Bids are invited iuntil 27th February 2012. Bidders interested in purchasing the freehold of the residential part of the site should contact Cluttons, as below:

Bidders should note the the Church will be seeking a partner with a proven track record of quality developments, and will seek a close partnership in realising the scheme. Quality of build is paramount in this sensitive area.

Updated October 2010: The Church are seeking consultation with local neighbours in order to submit a revised Planning Application.

Option B- as proposed by Planning Officers, 3-bays then 2-bays
Option C- additional stepping up of windows intermediately, 3-bays then 2-bays
Option D- all 2-bay properties, to match no.62, stepping up

October 2009: Camberwell Green URC submitted a Revised Full Planning Application to Southwark Council.
