The Café extension was completed in 2000, after the Centre bought the adjacent site on the north of the park from a tyre dealership.
The new building provides a new entrance to the Park, and a new presence for the Centre on Bruce Road.
'Pie in the Sky' Café offers good-quality food during the day, and supports community cooking classes and activities at other times. A take-away sandwich counter has recently been added, due to the excessive demand.
Upstairs, flexible rooms with sliding-folding partitions house a number of community and care activities, and a number of office spaces provide the admin hub for the centre.
