Bromley-by-Bow Centre - Enterprise & Training Barn
Completed in 2005, this is a Timber-framed and clad semi-octagonal 'Barn' with a suspended concrete slab on driven piles. The Barn is single storey and has a grass roof to minimise visual and environmental impact on the park in which it sits. The front room is an office for the community Gardening Enterprise, Green Dreams, and the rear room divides into multi-purpose flexible classroom space. The Barn forms part of the 'Park Completion Plan', which includes major landscape works around the new building.
